I enjoy doodling and transforming my doodles into illustrations. I'm also a papyrophiliac.

I enjoy watching K-dramas and episodes of "Going Seventeen" (Go-Se).

Professionally, I am a Content Marketer.

WHY I STARTED KITAABEIN AUR KOFFEE?

Kitaabein aur Koffee is my passion project. I love books. They have been my comfort since my childhood and have stayed with me as I've grown.

But then, life happened.

My days became a whirlwind of work, studies, eating, sleeping... and repeat. 🫠

One day, while scrolling through Instagram, I read a book review of Days at the Morisaki Bookshop. It made me want to read the book. AND. I purchased it and finished in one-sitting.

That book pulled me out of my reading slump. Now, I make time for reading whenever I can, squeezing it in between work and study.

This renewed passion gave birth to Kitaabein aur Koffee. I wanted to share my reviews and thoughts, hoping hoping they might inspire someone else, just as that Instagram post inspired me! ❤

Here, you'll find honest book reviews, book recommendations I've loved (and think my fellow book lovers will enjoy), and share my thoughts (or lessons learned from the books 👻).

This space is beginner-friendly. Those just starting to build reading habits can find great book recommendations to kickstart their journey.

I also plan to share tools and tips to help beginners start their literary adventure. ✈

A Little More About Me!

While I enjoy a variety of genres, I’m most drawn to books that reflect real-life experiences in some way.

However, there are a few genres I rarely read—like spicy or dark romance. (No offense to anyone who enjoys it! I respect every reader’s choice. ❤️)

If you're looking for some great spicy or dark romance recommendations, check out @booksnfairies on Instagram! She’s a good friend of mine and has some fantastic recs. In fact, Yaren recommended Maybe You—my first MM romance—and I honestly enjoyed it!
